Last Thursday I was walking from Bur Juman to my Piano teacher’s place just a couple of blocks away, when I came across this alley filled with graffiti. Some retard was let lose with a spray can.

If Dubai thought these signs can abate the suffering caused by the unbeatable malevolent evil that lurks also known as TRAFFIC, well they’ve got another thing coming. Not only do these signs innocently annoy people stuck in traffic, THEY CAUSE THE TRAFFIC!
Of course if you were driving and you see a quote on one of the many lamp posts and all seem to have one, you’d drive slower to read the signs! Before these signs, Al Khail Road is like a jar of chilled honey, as per my father’s sentiments on Traffic, ‘It’s flowing.’ It was so bad I have the time to get out of the car, pee on the side of the road, run around the car twice and still have minutes left before we move an inch.
So yeah, if you’re planning on driving around Dubai, may the Lord above grant you patience.
